reply to an earlier letter he had received. It reads: 'I am much obliged for your kind letter of 28th Sept: I am immensely interested in the results of your recent work, and especially about the effect of daylight on which I shall have some suggestions to make when we meet. Your magnetic detector is certainly a most marvelous thing.' |
