Dear Sir; For
some years I have wished
to learn electrical
engineering, but hitherto circumstances have prevented me. My
father (a Canadian clergiman)
was a
ten years ago defrauded of all his money, i was
therefore unable to continue my college course a was obliged not only
to
earn my own living but to pay off my college bills.

work I have done has
satisfied my employers
during one year in a bank (where my father sent me to learn
business). I
was promoted
three times a my
salary raised
each time. After
learning
college I began (two
years ago) at
a salary of

year received $ 850. Of
course if
you give me work I do
not aspect
any each salary as the above. I
am not at all
afreind of work.
