For  some years I have wished to learn electrical engineering, but hitherto circumstances have prevented me.  My father (a Canadian clergiman) was  a ten years ago defrauded of all his  money, i was therefore unable to continue my college course a was obliged not only to earn my own living but to pay off my college bills.

What work I  have done has satisfied my employers during one year in a bank (where my father sent me to learn business).  I was promoted three times a my salary raised each time. After learning college I began (two years ago) at a salary of $ 250 a this  year received $ 850. Of course if you give me work I do not aspect any each salary as the above. I am not at all afreind  of work. No matter hare rowgh or dirty a  shell give it all my attention I am strong a in good  health. I have a ....  ....  in mathematics       I have also taugh self a little perspective.  I can give you very good references as to  my character a work.
I  chould  ... like to see you personally of you do not object.    I chall  call on you this week .

Mio padre (un clergyman canadese)  dieci anni fa  è stato derubato  di  tutti i suoi soldi, non potevo quindi continuare i miei studi all'università e sono stato costretto  a mantenermi e a pagare  l'università.

Sono venuto a New York per cercare lavoro.

Ho già avuto esperienze di lavoro , un anno in una banca (dove mi ha mandato mio padre per apprendere il commercio). Sono stato promosso tre volte e il mio stipendio è aumentato ogni volta. Dopo avere studiato all'università ho cominciato (due anni  fa) con uno  stipendio di  $ 250 e in  questo anno ho raggiunto gli $ 850.

Naturalmente  non mi spetto questo stipendio nel caso di assunzione. Il lavoro non mi fa paura .
Non ho problemi per lavori sporchi o pesanti, sono forte e in buona salute.
